Child and Adolescent Initial Assessment With Clinical Director

This service is designed for children and teenagers experiencing mental health, emotional, or behavioural issues. The initial assessment involves both the child and their parent(s) in a confidential and caring 90-minute appointment. Our clinical director will listen to your concerns, understand the child's struggles, and formulate a personalised treatment plan to best support the family. This collaborative approach ensures a comprehensive understanding of the issues and sets the foundation for effective support and intervention for your little one.

Assessments are typically carried out over a two day period, with each session lasting approximately 1.5 hours. During these sessions your clinician will go through your background history and complete a comfortable, supportive, and understanding semi-structured interview which at each diagnostic area for BPD.
Please note that if there are any further complexities or further testing required, this assessment will be subject to an increase in price.
